●Warm up (two minutes):
1. Ask students have they ever seen the rainbow?
2. Show the color cards and have students read the vocabularies.
●Presentation (five minutes)
1. Show the color cards and have students practice the vocabularies.
2. Teach students the sentences patterns.

What color do you like?
I like ____.
●Practice ( eight minutes)
1. Sing a song (Colors Song)
- with a lyrics poster (see attachment 1)
2. Play a game (Paper ball war)
a. Teachers put the color cards on the white board
b. Divide two teams
c. Choose two students from each team
d. When teachers name a color, these two chosen students have two throw the paper ball to hit the color card on the white board. The faster team can win a star mark.
e. Once the teams gets three star marks, it wins the game. |
