Step 1 Organizing the class

T: Is everybody here?

Step 2 Presentations

T: Ask the students two questions.

 (1)Boys and girls, do you like traveling?

(2)Why or why not?

The answers: Because we can enjoy the beautiful sight and eat the delicious food….

I will introduce two adventure travels.

Show the two pictures

T: Please look at the first picture. We call it hiking.In the second picture, it is rafting.

T: Do you want to know more about the 2 pictures? Please read the text as quickly as you can. Now please turn to page 17. After your reading, please answer the question on page 18. Then discuss the answers with your partner.

T: Let us check the answers together.

T: What is the title? From this title we know that this kind of travel may have dangerous.

Give the students 4 minutes to read paragraph 1 and find the answers “Why do people travel?”
