 Unit 4 unforgettable experiences   Teaching Aims:   1.   能力目标:  a .   listening:  Train the Ss ears to be sensitive to 5W(what who when how where which) different context( ESP some past experiences) ,lastly get familiar to the past tense . b.              Speaking: try to express in proper words with correct pronunciation and intonation. c.               Reading:  enable the Ss to get the main idea and find out the key sentences. d.              Writing :  write out some personal experience ( such as diary with correct format and tense  ) 2.    知识目标:    a .     some useful expressions: I am afraid to ……Do not worry . well done. You can  do it .It is all right . keep trying. It scares me. Come on !  b.               How to make up a past story : First .next ,Then , Finally…… c.                to get some common sense about natural disasters, such as Typhoon  earthquake.  Flood. Fire…….  d.               Verbs studies and distinguish ( advance pull destroy flow struggle swallow  shake  seize drag strike ) e.                Attribute clause 5W 3.   素质目标:  a.   to develop the ability to cooperate b.          to encourage Ss to be active and to be confident c.            to arouse the interest in English d.           to develop Ss’ communication skills(  How to state ,how to agree how to compromise  ,how to  argue  ,  how to speaks properly) e.            to find out their own way to learn English wore efficiently                

Period One

Step one : A   warm up ( Going over the last lesson < ask them to raise their hands and give them praise to make them active and inspired >) (5M) B   Brainstorming: (let them say something about their personal experiences about natural disasters and then find out what they are lack of in their expressions and pronunciations, such as the tense …… and then introduce them some words like<First Next Then Finally > )  (there will be a homework using them in a diary)(10M) C  main  task:  move into the main part of the text book (learn some words and expressions including the grammar<Attribute clause> While the Ss listen to the material ,ask them to take notes )(20M) D  game:  retell the whole story with some of the expressions(8M) E  Going over(2)
