Unit6 Holidays

Unit6   Holidays   一、教学内容 《义务教育课程标准实验教科书·牛津小学英语》6A unit6  Holidays第一教时(Look, read and learn)。   二、教学目标 1、能正确地听、说、读、写词汇New Year’s Day, Children’s Day, people。 2、能正确地听、说、读词汇Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Easter, May Day, National Day, Dragon Boar To teach the 4 holidays: Mid-Autumn Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Easter, Halloween.(课件出示相关内容,板书单词,学生跟读,在教授每个节日后,运用句型what do the people usually do at/on……? They……让学生进行操练。)  3  T: I still have 3 pictures here. Look at them and what do you think about them. What holiday is it? You can tell me in Chinese.    Teach the new words: National Day, Children’s Day, May Day.(板书,学生跟读) 4         Practice: A Game T: Now we learn a lot of holidays. This time let’s play a game and guess what holiday is it?    逐步出现单词,学生猜单词    e.g: balloons      happy       children         in June       Children’s Day 5 (接游戏最后一个Children’s Day ) T: Do you like Children’s Day. S: Yes! T: You can guess what is my favourite festival. (学生猜,练习已学单词) Festival, Halloween, favourite, dress up, delicious。 3、能正确地听、说、读、写句型What do people do at ……?They ……。 4、能正确地理解、掌握对话内容,并进行简单的表演。 5、能运用本教时所教的内容谈论自己最喜欢的节日。   三、教学重点、难点 能运用本教时所教的内容谈论自己最喜欢的节日。   四、课前准备 1、单词、句型卡片。 2、多媒体教学课件。 3、表格。(每人一张)   五、教学过程 /Warm up Sing a song A  Free talk    T: What day is it today? S: It’s… T: Which day do you like best? S: … T: Many students like Saturday and Sunday. Because we can play games、read books, we can do something we like, we don’t need to go to school. They are holidays.        To teach the word: holiday T: Do you like holidays? Ss: Yes! T: Me too. Today let’s learn some holidays. (板书课题) 设计意图: 课前谈话轻松导入新课Unit6   Holidays B  Presentation and practice 1  课前安排学生预习有关节日的单词,为学习新课作铺垫。 T: Do you know some names of holidays? First let’s look at a picture and listen to a song. Then guess what holiday is it.(放一段Happy new year的音乐,学生感知节日) T shows the card and teaches the new word: New Year’s Day.(板书)   Let’s read the words together……  S: New Year’s Day.    T: But in our China how we call it? Look at a picture. T shows the card and teaches the new word: Spring Festival. (板书、学生跟读) 教师问 What do the people usually do at Spring Festival? 教师自答 They usually…… (运用所学词组,让学生理解句型What do the people usually do?的意思,再向学生进行提问) T: What do the people usually do at Spring Festival /on New Year’s Day? S: They ……(Ss answer.) 设计意图: 用《Happy new year》的音乐引出中国的春节,并同时向学生渗透中国的传统文化,让学生回忆过节时的情景。 2         T: I have 4 things here. ( rice dumplings, moon cakes, easter eggs, pumpkin lanterns) What holiday we eat or make them?( Ss can answer it in Chinese.) To teach the 4 holidays: Mid-Autumn Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Easter, Halloween.(课件出示相关内容,板书单词,学生跟读,在教授每个节日后,运用句型what do the people usually do at/on……? They……让学生进行操练。) 设计意图: 出示的四种物品中学生能根据 rice dumplings, moon cakes 知道这是中国传统的节日( Mid-Autumn Festival, Dragon Boat Festival )时所吃的的食品,通过教师的教授了解到easter eggs, pumpkin lanterns 是西方节日 Easter, Halloween 时的物品。  3  T: I still have 3 pictures here. You can tell me in Chinese.    Teach the new words: National Day, Children’s Day, May Day.(板书,学生跟读) 设计意图: 从三张图片中的国旗、唱唱跳跳的孩子们和工人们,学生都能猜出是中国的 National Day, Children’s Day, May Day. ,这三幅图让学生也了解到三个节日时人们通常都会做些什么。 4         Practice: A Game T: Now we learn a lot of holidays. This time let’s play a game and guess what holiday is it?    逐步出现单词,学生猜单词    e.g: balloons      happy       children         in June       Children’s Day 5 (接游戏最后一个Children’s Day ) T: Do you like Children’s Day. S: Yes! T: You can guess what is my favourite festival. (学生猜,练习已学单词) 设计意图: 通过学生自己介绍喜欢的节日的有关提示让其他同学猜测自己喜欢的节日,不仅激发了学生的学习兴趣,而且也培养了学生综合运用语言的能力。 B: Consolidation 1  Do a survey    Ask Ss to make a dialogue with their group leader and complete the form. ( 学生4人一组进行对话操练,并完成表格) 附表:

设计意图: 表格式的调查作业不仅让学生巩固了新学的有关节日单词的说写,而且也使学生掌握、运用了新学句型What do people usually do?以及回答。

C: Homework

1、听录音,用正确的语音语调朗读本课的单词和对话。 2、课后向家长、朋友用本课操练的句型询问他们最喜欢的节日,并完成表格。 3、搜集自己最喜欢的节日的资料,并用What’s your favourite festival?向同学提问,做好整理,下节课交流。 五、板书设计                   Unit 6  Holidays                                               New Year’s Day                   National Day
