用魔术“偷”孩子一颗心
PEP 4 Unit4 It’s warm today. PartA Let’s learn& Let’s chant课堂实录与反思
Step 1 . Warm—up
1、 Greeting. 2、Oral practice 3、Let’s do（P28）（Part A and Part B have a competition）
Step2 Presentation
1、 Teach “weather”
教师拿出一张magician的卡片贴在自己的左臂上，把weather单词卡片贴在胸前。
T: I’m a magician.(魔术师) My name is “Weather” .fetch out “ weather”then ask students to read and say hello to the teacher named “Weather”.(Use the word “weather”)
2、 Teach the key words: hot ,warm, cool, cold and the sentense:It’s……
①（Ｂefore class put two glasses into the magical box, one is cold,the other is hot.）T:You know I’m a magician,this is my magical box,What’s in my magical box?I want to touch it. Oh!My god(故作惊讶状).Who want to have a try? S:Wow! （非常惊讶）T ask 5 Ss to touch it and then tell them this feeling is “hot”.Then take out the hot water.make Ss touch and say:＂Oh,it’s hot.”(通过魔术师呈现魔术的尖叫引起学生touch 的强烈欲望，然后通过学生的亲自touch，让学生体验hot是怎样一种感觉，发自内心地说出＂Ｏh,it’s hot.＂)
②(Using ice-water) Teach:It’s warm.(用冰水往热水上倒然后教师自己touch，作出一种舒适的动作感觉，再让学生来touch感受这种感觉。)
T:Is it hot?
S:No,it’s not hot.
T:Yes,it’s warm.
Ss:touch it and say:Oh it’s warm.
③Teach “It’s cool.”
(教师提醒学生魔术来了，让学生看仔细，然后教师将一杯刚刚还比较暖和的水放入魔术盒，自己touch然后发出惊叹声设置悬念)
Ｔ：Ｏh,my god!(作惊讶状，使学生产生疑惑)Who can have a try?
Ss: Touch it and very surprised（魔术效果出现，惊讶中体验这种感觉，加深记忆）.
T: Ok.This feeling is “cool”.
(教师拿出这杯冰水在学生的小脸蛋上、手上轻轻地冰一下然后学生自然说出:Oh,it’s cool.)
(用一杯暖水神奇地变成一杯非常凉爽的水的过程中学生体验的欲望很强烈，迫切想知道这种感觉，当知道这种感觉叫cool后，再次感受并且非常自然地说出It’s cool.且记忆深刻。)
④ Teach “cold”
教师做cold的动作，教授cold. It’s cold.
(神奇的魔术加上如同化学实验般水的冷热转换，既培养了学生的观察力和注意力，又提高了学生的兴趣。)
⑤ Listen to the tape about these four words and read by the tape.
3、 Play two games
⑴Say and do. ⑵Listen and point .
Teach “weather report”
T: You know I’m a magician. Now the magician want to China(出示the map).Yesterday(昨天)the magician watched TV and know the “weather report”,then read by the T:weather report weather report
Make a weather report
T:Now magician write down the temperature,let’s look.( 教师出示一张调查表，根据温度在hot warm cold cool四栏中选择一栏打上勾)
T：Oh,It’s …… in ……（举三个例子）
S: Look at the chart and follow the teacher.
T: Now,this time please look at your chart,tick it and say to magician:It’s……in……
（教师设置一个魔术师想去中国要了解天气情况的场景，并且让学生做个好心人告诉他自己知道的城市的天气，使学生充满兴趣）
T:Now let’s listen to the tape and think:how to make a weather report to magician.(出示Let’s learn的weather report,学生跟读教师边点地图边做天气预报：Good morning,this is the weather report.It’s……in……)
S: act the weather man/woman make the weather report to magician.(通过真实的情景让学生将学到的东西运用到生活中,并体会帮助人的乐趣。)
Let’s chant
Following the tape ,listen and act,then have a competition between PartA and Part B.
Step6 Consolidation and extension
1、 do exercises in the activity book.
2、 Homework:收看当天天气预报并作记录，试用英语给家长和朋友作天气预报。
反思：
这是一个有趣的故事：一个名叫Weather的魔术师给我们变了一场由热水变冷水的精彩戏，让学生有幸成为了参与其中的小精灵。有一天这个魔术师要来中国了，他看了中国的天气预报，但是只记了部分城市的天气情况，中国的小朋友非常友好，帮助他了解了很多城市的天气情况，并给他作了详细的天气预报。在这样一个故事中我的孩子们都是参与者，是亲身体验魔术的主体，这种体验不会一闪而过，是深深地印在脑海中，并能广泛应用的，同时这使得我的孩子们离开课堂后愿意和同伴和家人朋友一起分享学到的本领而不是单纯的知识，愿意是最好的老师，不是吗？
书上说故事永远是孩子们最喜欢的，巴斯也曾经过实验研究证明：儿童在记忆有意识的，有逻辑的和有条理的东西时，记忆效果特别好，在小学阶段，故事倍受学生欢迎。于是我把这节课变成了一个小故事，然后在故事中加上魔术的神奇色彩，增加故事的吸引力，让学生在不知不觉中练习句型和单词。
在这堂课上我发现了一个秘密：其实教师所要做的是“偷”孩子一颗心。
